Your prayers and fellowship are a great encouragement. Thank you so much. As usual we are very busy, but praise God He helps us in everything. We value your continued prayers for:-
Martin & Susana Wieland from Switzerland, who have recently arrived to work with us. Praise the Lord for this answer to a long term prayer request! They already speak Spanish having spent 5 years in Peru, but want to improve their English, the main communication language within SIM. As they have 3 children less than 5 years of age they will have a busy timetable. They will be sharing some of our responsibilities.
Huaycan Feeding/Education project with Florencio, Rosa & Miriam plus the 8 or so young people who help – that they will grow as they serve God. Pray especially for the Teenagers’ Group of over 50, that many of them will accept Christ, grow spiritually and become part of the church.
La Campiña Feeding/Education project with committee Eulalia, Benedicta, Elsa & Maria – that they will continue and also grow spiritually. Pray for wisdom for Mario, the Seminary Student who has taken responsibility for the small church where the project is based. Pray many of the 50 mums in our project will become Christians and get involved in a church, as well as benefitting from the practical help.
Training – that the 16 or so youngsters involved will continue to do well in their studies, and God will continue to supply the funds needed.
Short termers Meeka from S. Africa, Sarah Nicols from Canada & Clare McBrien from Scotland - that God will help them use their gifts according to their different levels of Spanish and experience.
Medical – that Patty will continue to be available to assist us in helping those in need and that the testimony of Christians helping in this way will speak volumes.
SIM – that God will continue to guide Bill as Lima Team Co-ordinator and bless our group of over 25 adults & 15 children made up of 8+ nationalities.
Personal – please pray we will keep close to God and know His daily refreshing, good health and wisdom & love in all we do.
‘Look to the Lord and His strength; seek His face always.’ Psalm 105:4
